Terms of Use
You can use Confiles for lawful file tasks on your own device. The tools are provided as they are, without a warranty that a result is complete, accurate, or small enough for a particular form. You are responsible for the files you process and for checking the download before you rely on it.
Quick answer
Use the site lawfully, only with files you have the right to use. Browser tools have hard limits. There is no warranty and no account. Write to juanmagnc@gmail.com if you need the publisher.
Acceptable use
Use the tools for your own lawful documents, images, and data. Do not process a file you do not have the right to use. Do not use the site to distribute malware, to attack the site or other people, or to break the law.
Do not hammer the site with automated traffic that degrades it for everyone else. The tools are meant for a person finishing a task in the browser.
You keep the rights to your files. Confiles does not take them, because the tools do not upload them to us.
No warranty
The site is free and provided as available. Tools can fail, browsers differ, and a result can be wrong for your purpose even when the page loads. There is no warranty of fitness for a particular form, filing, print job, or archive, and no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted.
Check the download before you send it. A merged PDF might be in the wrong order if the files were selected in the wrong order. A JPG will not keep transparency. A compressed PDF might be the same size as the original. Those outcomes are limits of the tools, not a promise that the file was improved.
Nothing on the site is legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. The publisher is not your records custodian.
Browser-only limits
Work runs in your browser, so it depends on that browser's memory and on the libraries the page can run locally. Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Text-only PDFs often do not get smaller. Extracting pages does not read ranges such as 2-4. Compress Image always saves a JPG. Resize Image uses the exact pixel size you type and can stretch the picture.
If a tool cannot do the job, the honest outcome is an error or an unchanged file, not a silent upload to a server. For a file the browser cannot hold, use software on your own computer.
The site may change or remove a tool. Pages are available in English and Spanish. Advertising and analytics are described in the privacy policy and do not change these limits.

No. The site is offered as a free set of browser tools, without a service-level agreement.
